The Agricultural Worker Health Project (AWHP) seeks to improve the health of California farm workers and their families by improving health and safety conditions both at the work place and at home. The AWHP provides direct legal representation, advocacy support, policy advocacy and research, community education and outreach, field monitoring for health and safety violations, assessments of current conditions through farm worker questionnaires and focus groups, training and technical assistance throughout California. The AWHP is directed by attorney Julia Montgomery. The Agricultural Worker Health Project is made possible through the financial support of The California Endowment.
