The Border Project

215 S. Coast Highway, Ste. 200,
Oceanside, California, 92054
(760) 966-0511

The Border Project provides technical assistance, advocacy support and direct legal representation to low-income and minority individuals in the U.S.-Mexico border region. The Project's work addresses INS misconduct issues, labor standards violations affecting indigenous farm workers, racial discrimination against Latinos, and community development work. Its staff includes attorneys, community workers, and legal interns.

A special focus of the Project's work concerns "Operation Gatekeeper," for which we maintain a separate webpage. Click here to go there.

STAFF

  • Claudia Smith, Esq. - Project Director
  • Arturo Gonzales - Community Worker

For additional information, suggestions, comments or to volunteer time to the Project, please contact Claudia Smith.
