Protecting Children of Immigrants

The Protecting Children of Immigrants Project, directed by Equal Justice Works Fellow Eliana Kaimowitz, provides legal education and legal services to immigrant parents on immigrants’ and parental rights and encourages families to prepare in case of separation caused by immigration enforcement. We help immigrant parents regain custody of their children, provide legal education to the community on immigration law and immigrants' rights, and distribute written material we developed to inform parents of their rights.
